PROJECT OVERVIEW
Wornwell Manchester is part of Primark’s collaboration with Wornwell, introducing a new retail concept that combines high street fashion with vintage and pre-loved clothing in one destination shopping experience. The concept celebrates sustainability whilst creating an engaging retail environment that allows customers to shop both new and pre-loved collections within the same store.
DEN Interiors were appointed to design and procure the concession interior, creating a distinctive identity within the wider retail environment. The brief focused on developing a visually impactful destination that reflected the individuality of vintage fashion whilst remaining accessible and inviting to customers.
The project combines retail functionality with experiential design to create a memorable customer journey and a strong in-store brand presence.
DESIGN CONCEPT
The design concept took inspiration from the character and individuality of vintage and pre-loved fashion, creating a retail environment that felt bold, eclectic and expressive.
Furniture, finishes and colour palettes were carefully selected to complement the curated clothing collections and reinforce the sustainable retail message throughout the space. The aim was to create a concession that felt unique and instantly recognisable within the larger store environment.
Layered textures, statement lighting and graphic elements were introduced to add personality and create visual interest, whilst bespoke joinery and feature displays helped showcase the collections in a way that elevated the customer experience.
The result is a retail concept that blends sustainability, fashion and experience-led design.
